Animation Critique: "...in love with you"

A friend of a friend is currently applying for the Talent Development program at Disney and he wanted a bit of feedback on one of his animations.

Now, this particular artist was fantastic! he had some fantastic work and i have no doubt that he’ll be joining us this fall.

However, just like the rest of us, he still has some area where he could improve. he has all the mechanics nailed but there was something about his characters that didn’t connect with me. a lot of it had to do with the eyes. so this was what i came up with!

I really enjoy doing these crits and hope others will find these useful.

    Hey Andrew, thanks for sharing. It was actually a really interesting read. Hopefully I can take this advice and apply it to my own work.

    glad you find it useful! i think i remember you saying something about learning CG. are you thinking of getting into cg animation?
